Darkwoods Foundation has been a valued supporter of Artish, helping us to continue developing creative opportunities for people in our local community. Their support has helped us provide welcoming, inclusive sessions where young people and adults can come together, be creative, build confidence and feel that they belong. Artish has developed a valued connection with Salendine Nook High School through our shared commitment to supporting young people and helping them grow in confidence. By using creativity as a way to encourage self-expression, wellbeing and engagement, we are able to offer young people a different kind of space in which they can explore ideas, develop skills and feel a real sense of achievement. Artish created a bespoke creative workshop for Healthwatch Kirklees and Calderdale as part of an event to thank and celebrate their volunteers. The session was designed especially for the occasion, giving volunteers the chance to relax, enjoy being creative together and feel recognised for the time and commitment they give to their community.

Artish has built a positive relationship with Kirklees Council through our work supporting people across the local community. Their teams have helped us make connections, access opportunities and develop projects that reach young people, adults and families who may benefit from a welcoming creative space. Kirklees Youth Alliance has been an important connection for Artish, helping us link into the wider network of organisations supporting young people across Kirklees. We were also proud to achieve the Quality for Youth Bronze Award, recognising our commitment to providing safe, inclusive and high-quality opportunities for young people. Their support, guidance and connections have helped us strengthen what we offer and continue developing Artish as a place where young people can feel welcomed, supported and valued.

Artish worked with Yetton Together to deliver creative workshops over a six-month period for their established art group. Each session introduced different ideas, materials and techniques, giving members the opportunity to try something new, build confidence and enjoy creating together. It was a really positive partnership and a great way for Artish to support an existing community group through regular creative activity.
